
I really enjoyed this movie! My taste in entertainment tends to lean Anglophilic so that should come as no surprise. I’m sure I’m not the first person to bring this up, but I found the film to be part-way between the Marx Brothers and Monty Python, which is to say it had its fair share of well constructed slapstick and absurdity. Michael Palin was brilliant as K-k-k-ken — I found the humor written for his character to be the best in the film. The old lady sequence had me in stitches…
