On the fluidity of business plans

Marc Andreessen has just posted the best constructed argument I’ve read (yet) for writing a business plan to make sure your idea is competent, setting out to execute it as planned, and then letting your audience/market direct your final product. We are currently in the execution phase over at Common Kitchen, although our business plan says we will be entering the user directed chapter in a month or so…

Harry Potter Finale

Approximately 750 pages in 7.5 hrs, and all of it well spent. My book came right on time, none of the UPS/USPS monkey business I have been hearing about. I was actually was very impressed with the Amazon packaging: completely recyclable and no wasted space! I’m usually so disappointed when I get a book from them, when it is shrink-wrapped to a piece of cardboard in a giant box filled with plastic air pockets.

From the “I wish I thought of that” department, this video is amazing! That’s a $500-750 phone and approximately a $30 kite, so half the fun is seeing someone willing to risk about a third of a mortgage payment for areal photos of their house…
