As you can see, I found a few good things at this year’s book sale, including several items on my Common Kitchen Wishlist. First recipe to try? The Remarkable Fudge recipe from Better Homes and Garden’s New Cook Book that comes so highly recommended by Parker.

Approximately 750 pages in 7.5 hrs, and all of it well spent. My book came right on time, none of the UPS/USPS monkey business I have been hearing about. I was actually was very impressed with the Amazon packaging: completely recyclable and no wasted space! I’m usually so disappointed when I get a book from them, when it is shrink-wrapped to a piece of cardboard in a giant box filled with plastic air pockets.
