Trader Ming’s
Trader Joe’s has a series of Thai noodle boxes, and now that I’m eating lunch in an office again I’m getting fairly well acquainted with them. At $2 each they are about 40-60% off the comparable supermarket alternatives, so that’s a win. The Kung Pao is spicy and really quite good, while the Pad Thai is reasonably tasty but not particularly reminiscent of the real deal, and the Peanut Satay is just alright (bland, smooth, kinda greasy). Maybe I should try not adding all the sauce…
I’d give TJ’s some link-love, but they have a lousy website that does not show information regarding their products.

Quick vote

Site back up
After fighting with pretty URLs for a few days, I’ve decided to go ahead and revert to the old ugly URL system for the time being…

Not quite enough
You can only win so many ridiculous comeback games in a season, apparently…
OK, so I fell asleep
It was 7-0, and I turned off the TV and went to bed. I turned on the radio and listened to Pedroia (our little pony) and Papi bring it back to 7-4, and then during the commercial break I fell asleep. But I wasn’t the only one!

George Bush and the Redeem Team
Our president seems to be having a good time in Beijing, and the athletes seem to be treating him as “one of the guys,” from beach volleyball to basketball where Lebron James greeted him with:
What’s up, Pops?
